We are people who have found the other-centeredness of Jesus to be so transformational in our own lives and families that we have chosen to commit ourselves to the same.
We seek to follow the example of Jesus within our contexts while crossing geographical and social boundaries to care for others.
Our strategy is based on Jesus’ example:
Reach
Go to wherever people are hurting.
Teach
Patiently teach and model new paradigms.
Send
Prepare and support transforming leaders.
Our Story
Servantworks was founded in 2003 by a small group of people who wanted to live like Jesus and share resources and stories to encourage others to do the same.
In 2005, we launched The Well Bangkok, our working model for learning and ministering in the way of Jesus. Inspired by the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4 story, we focused on women and families who were exploited or at high risk.
Today the ministries of The Well include community development, church planting, educational programs, and direct compassionate care to those in need.
Our Values
We’ve identified # principles and priorities from the teachings of Jesus that inform our choices.
Our Work in Thailand
The Well is our working model for ministry patterned after the way of Jesus.
Our Organization
Servantworks is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Our board is based across the U.S., and our Thai staff is based in Bangkok.
